Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Vauntly Tech Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information in AWTY (Are We There Yet), a personal planner available at https://awty.efosa.me and as an iOS app. It is written to match how the product works today. It is not legal advice.

Information we collect

• Account. Email address and a password stored by Supabase Auth (we do not see your raw password). If you use Google sign-in, we receive the Google account identity and email needed to create or link your AWTY account.
• Planner content. Events, tasks, notes, goals, tags, projects, subtasks, and preferences you create (theme, timezone, notification settings).
• Optional Google Calendar. If you connect Calendar, we store the connection and sync event titles, times, and related mapping IDs so items can appear on both sides.
• Push notifications. If you enable alerts, we store web push subscription endpoints and/or an Expo/iOS push token so we can deliver reminders.
• API keys and feedback. Personal API keys you create for MCP or other integrations (we store a prefix and hash, not the full secret after creation). Feature requests and other feedback you submit.
• Theme cookie. A first-party awty_theme cookie remembers light, dark, or system appearance when you are signed out.
• Usage analytics. When configured, we load Umami to record page views. We do not use it for advertising.
• Email. Auth messages (confirmation, password reset) and optional morning report emails are sent through our SMTP provider (currently Gmail).
• Task planner chat. If you use the in-app planner agent, your message and enough account context to propose events or tasks are sent to Google Gemini and stored in your agent session history.

How we use information

We use this information to operate AWTY: authenticate you, store and sync your planner data, send reminders and emails you asked for, run optional integrations, and keep the product working. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the product. That currently includes Supabase (auth and database), Google (sign-in, optional Calendar, and Gemini for the planner agent), Expo and Apple/Google push services, SMTP/Gmail for mail, Umami for page views when enabled, and the host that serves awty.efosa.me.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and planner data while your account is active. Items you delete in the app are soft-deleted so they can be restored until you purge the account.

You can delete your account in web Settings → Account. That immediately soft-deletes the account. For 72 hours you can cancel in Settings and keep your data. After 72 hours we permanently purge the account, including planner content, Google Calendar connection, push tokens, and API keys. Email support@vauntly.com if you need help during that window.

Security

Planner data is stored in Postgres with row-level security so one account cannot read another. You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys private.

Children

AWTY is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete planner items in the app.
• You can disconnect Google Calendar and unlink Google sign-in in Settings (after setting a password).
• You can revoke API keys and disable push notifications.
• You can delete your account in web Settings and cancel during the 72-hour window.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of AWTY after an update means you accept the revised policy.
